" If you dig Afro jazz or funk, this album should definitely be part of your collection "

Funkenstein & Friends (Hot Pursuit Records), Austin, Texas and Bogotá, Colombia based, Latin funk band, gets deep into Latin jazz/funk. Opening track "Saborintenso" is reminiscent of a 70's Discos Fuentes album, then the tracks continuously progress into a harder funk vibe, raw with solos fitting seamlessly into the grooves and building up energy culminating with "I hear voices", featuring a funky trombone solo on top of hard hitting drums.
